OK, not going to lie, I YouTubed "Hindu push-up." And this guy came up: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7f-wV5s3r_Q&feature=channel

I'm not sure if the hat or the weird lack of certain body parts disturbs me more. I should also mention that he never quite manages to do one Hindu push-up.

Secondly! It looks kind of like a vinyasa flow in yoga - except instead of a high push-up to low push-up to updog and downdog, it's kind of like a downdog to an updog, and back to a downdog. But an interesting similarity nonetheless.

Branden/Matt: Trust me when I tell you that he is not doing a Hindu push-up. Think rabbits. . . in heat.

I love that video. My wife is learning Yang style Tai Chi and I showed it to her, got a good laugh out of it.

I read an article recently, I think in Journal of the Asian Martial Arts or Classical Fighting Arts, that discussed the common origins of tai chi and kung-fu grappling applications. Interesting stuff. As a result, I often describe tai chi as "slow-motion kung-fu" to people who ask me what it is. May or may not be accurate, but people get the idea.

Massimo: That truly is a mystery. No one has completely figured out how exactly to make a video go viral, but there are folks out there who try to make it happen every day. From what I can tell, it requires something extraordinarily funny/shocking + a lot of luck.

BBM and Branden: For anyone who is lost by this heated disagreement, take a look at what hindu pushups are - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NcW61Bb8uOo

Ha, ha, funny video. There is a guy who goes to my gym. He goes in one of the workout rooms with mirrors and does what I think is self-taught (much faster than usual) tai chi. He also does push-ups that make him look like he's. . . well, you can imagine and some really strange suggestive sit-ups too. This video made me think about him because he is ultra serious when he's doing his workout. He cracks my trainer up.

Dave: I'd definitely recommend people jumping over to your article for a serious discussion on the topic.

But like Zyaga said, this is funny every time, so I figured I would post it. haha.
